High-Intensity Tennis Drills in Delhi
Tennis isn't just about hitting the ball, it's about movement. These drills are designed to push your speed, agility, and endurance under match pressure.
Consistency is key. This video shows a typical high-repetition drill where I feed balls continuously to keep players moving and hitting. The focus is on maintaining technique and intensity, point after point.
Watch my players practice hitting on the run. This drill forces them to combine their footwork with their strokes, learning to generate power and control even when pulled wide off the court.
Net play can win or lose a match. In this drill, we work on quick volleys and net movement, training the player to be aggressive and finish points decisively when they come forward.
About High-Intensity Court Drills
In these sessions, I don't just stand around watching. We focus on dead-ball feeding where I hit 20 to 30 balls at you in rapid succession. This forces your feet to move constantly and gets your heart rate up before you even realize you're tired. It is the fastest way to turn a lazy rally into a match-winning point.
When you step onto the court at Xtreme Tennis Academy in Dwarka, leave your excuses at the gate. My high-intensity drills are built for one purpose: to simulate the real-world exhaustion of a competitive match. We use a mix of hard and clay court surfaces to test how you handle different bounces and paces.
The Methodology
We focus on the three pillars of court performance: speed, agility, and endurance.
- SAQ (Speed, Agility, Quickness): We use cone drills and resistance bands to build explosive lateral movement. You will learn to split-step and react to auditory cues like whistles, training your brain to move as fast as your body.
- Dead-Ball Feeding: This is our staple. I feed balls to specific corners to ensure you are hitting while on the run, building the muscle memory needed to finish points decisively.
- Endurance Conditioning: We don't just play points. We mix in bodyweight circuits, lunges, and sprints to ensure that when your opponent is tired, you are still fresh enough to win the set.
Who This Is For
Whether you are a tournament-level player needing to sharpen your competitive edge, or an adult getting back into shape, these drills are for you. We keep our group batches small, usually 6 to 10 participants, to ensure I can watch every single stroke and push you to improve.
If you are ready to work hard and sweat, you will see the results on the scorecard. Mehnat kar paseena baha. Let's get to work.
