Featured Tennis Training: High-Intensity Agility and Speed Drills
On my court, we do not just hit balls; we build athletes. This collection showcases the raw intensity, technical focus, and fitness-first approach that defines our training.
This is a lateral training drill using resistance bands. It's a core part of our program, designed to build explosive leg strength, improve balance, and increase the lateral quickness essential for covering the court.
Hear the intensity. In my high-paced hitting drills, I push players to move faster and hit with purpose, simulating the pressure of a real match. There's no standing still on my court.
Footwork is everything in tennis. This video shows one of our fundamental cone drills, engineered to sharpen a player's movement patterns, improve reaction time, and ensure they are always in the right position to strike the ball.
The results of dedication are real. This image celebrates the incredible core strength and mental toughness of my trainees, who have set amazing plank records. Gurjot held a plank for over 16 minutes, a testament to her hard work.
A strong player is a flexible player. We integrate yoga and stretching into our training to improve range of motion, prevent injuries, and develop the mental calmness needed to win tight matches.
This picture says it all: sweat is gold. On my court, every drop of sweat is an investment in your success. This is the result of true hard work and passion for the game.
About Featured
You will not find easy rallies here. Every session is designed to make you sweat, focusing on specific tennis drills like lateral resistance and rapid-fire ball feeding. Whether it is improving your footwork around the cones or testing your core strength, we ensure your training translates directly to better match performance.
On my court, 'Mehnat kar, paseena baha' (work hard, sweat) is not just a saying; it is the daily drill. We built Xtreme Tennis Academy in 2002 to change how players train in Delhi. If you are looking for a relaxed hitting session, you are in the wrong place. We focus on the science of tennis—agility, movement, and explosive strength.
The Xtreme Methodology
We use a mix of high-intensity training and holistic recovery:
- Lateral & Explosive Movement: We use resistance bands to build hip strength and lateral quickness. You need to get to the ball fast, and that starts with your feet.
- Rapid-Fire Feeding: Our drills simulate match pressure. We feed 20 to 30 balls in quick succession to force decision-making when you are tired.
- Yoga & Flexibility: You cannot smash a winner if your body is stiff. We integrate yoga to help with recovery and mental calm, keeping you on the court longer.
- Core Strength: We track progress, whether it is planking or sprints. Records like our 16-minute planks prove that discipline gets results.
Whether you are a kid starting out or an adult looking to get back in shape, we have a spot for you. We provide the racquets, the cones, and the floodlit courts in Dwarka. You bring the dedication.
