What are we making? In our 3D printing workshop, kids learn how a design on a screen becomes a real object. In this case, we printed a ping-pong ball.
About Tech & Innovation Workshops
We keep our tech batches small, with a limit of 15 participants, so every child gets active hands-on time with the robotics kits and 3D printer. Whether it is wiring a simple motor for a moving robo-car or watching a ping-pong ball print in real-time, our focus is on building confidence through experimentation rather than just following a static manual.
Building Curiosity Through Tech
Technology is often taught behind screens, but we believe it should be tactile. In our Tech & Innovation workshops, we bridge the gap between abstract code and physical reality. We want kids to see that they can be makers, not just consumers, of the technology around them.
What We Explore
- Robotics 101: We strip away the intimidating jargon. Kids learn the basics of circuits and sensors by building functional items like light-up dandiyas for Navratri or their own custom robo-cars. They get to decorate, assemble, and test their creations.
- 3D Printing Basics: We demystify the printing process. Seeing a digital design on a screen transform into a physical, tangible object like a ping-pong ball or a small toy is a moment of pure magic for children.
Why Our Approach Works
We focus on the 'how' and 'why' rather than just the final product. By guiding small groups, our instructors can help when a wire doesn't connect or a print needs adjustment. This creates a safe space for trial and error—essential for STEM learning. If your child is naturally curious or loves taking things apart to see how they work, this is the environment where they can build, break, and rebuild to their heart's content.
