Rainy days are for cozy, screen-free play. I love sharing simple ideas that require very little prep to keep little hands busy and creative at home.
Presenting the "dab-dab-dab" painting technique. Even our youngest artists, just two years old, can have fun exploring colors and textures with this simple method.
A simple art class activity: creating beautiful, handmade birthday cards for a friend. It's a sweet way for kids to express their love and creativity.
This is how we spend our evenings at the Wondershop studio. It's a happy place filled with coloring, crafting, and exploring our shelves of art supplies.
During our summer camp, we crafted our own moons using MDF and tissues. It was a fun, tactile project that let kids take a little piece of the sky home.
About Additional Work & Inspiration
We believe that art is less about the end result and more about the process. Whether it is our signature dab-dab-dab painting technique for toddlers or complex MDF texture projects for older kids, every session is designed to let participants explore colors and materials without the pressure of making a masterpiece.
At Wondershop, my goal is to provide a physical space where children and parents can step away from screens and connect through tactile, creative play. We keep our batches small, usually between 8 to 15 people, which means I can give personal attention to every participant. If you have been searching for a way to fill a rainy afternoon or want to introduce your child to new textures, this is the environment for it.
We do everything from simple paper crafts to textured MDF board projects. During our recent summer camps, we focused on tactile projects where kids built their own moon models using simple tissues and board, giving them a real sense of accomplishment. My studio in Vikhroli East is always stocked with basic supplies like paints, palette knives, and brushes, but the focus is always on the fun factor. You will find that even our youngest artists, often as young as two, leave with something they made themselves. We focus on low-prep, high-engagement activities that you can easily replicate at home. Parents often tell me they appreciate the mess-free cleanup, as I handle all the post-workshop sorting so you do not have to. Whether it is custom birthday cards for friends or open studio evenings filled with coloring and craft, my aim is to make creativity a regular habit.
Wondershop
I started Wondershop because I saw how much joy a simple craft activity could bring to a child like Ria. I am here to make sure you and your family have a space to breathe, play, and make things with your own two hands.
