These are the moments that define my journey—from the raw energy of Mumbai's streets to the silence of the high Himalayas. Every image here is an honest look at the world through my lens.

This is the Pottan Theyyam, a ritual of fire and faith in Kerala. I stayed up all night to capture this moment, where the performer, embodying a deity, walks through embers, representing a powerful story of resistance and spirit.

An off-road vehicle navigates a winding road in the snow-covered expanse of Spiti Valley. This drone shot captures the scale of the Himalayas and the spirit of adventure that drives me to explore these remote landscapes.

A long-exposure shot of Mumbai's Municipal Corporation Building at night, with light trails from traffic creating rivers of light. This image shows the city's constant motion, a blend of historic architecture and relentless modern energy.

A woman takes a holy dip in the Ganges at sunrise, her red saree a stark contrast against the calm, golden water. This is a moment of pure faith, a quiet prayer in the heart of Varanasi's spiritual landscape.

A portrait of a Kushti wrestler from Kolhapur, his face and body covered in the sacred mud of the 'taleem'. His direct gaze speaks of the immense strength, discipline, and tradition inherent in this ancient form of Indian wrestling.

A man celebrating Lathmaar Holi, his face serene amidst a swirl of vibrant red fabric. This photo captures the personal, intimate moments of devotion found within the wild chaos of India's most colorful festival.

This cinematic drone video follows my motorcycle ride along a tranquil reservoir in the Western Ghats. It captures the feeling of freedom and escape that I find on the open road, with the earth zooming out to reveal the scale of the journey.

About this collection

I don't just take photos; I hunt for the soul of a place. Whether I am trekking with a drone in the Western Ghats or navigating the narrow lanes of Mumbai's Chor Bazaar, I keep my gear minimal—usually a full-frame camera and a 50mm prime—to stay agile and candid. I prefer capturing raw, atmospheric light over heavy flash setups, ensuring that what you get is the real energy of the moment, not a staged simulation.

Why I Chase Stories

Photography for me is about making sense of the chaos. It isn't just about pressing a shutter; it’s about timing and atmosphere. When I am shooting, I look for contrasts—the silence of a monastery against the noise of a city, or the stillness of a person in a crowded street.

How I Work

I shoot to document, not to direct. My approach is rooted in natural light and candid observation. I pair the Sony A7C II for its dynamic range with lenses that capture sharp, clean details. For landscapes and travel films, I incorporate drone footage to capture the scale of places like the Spiti Valley or the Western Ghats.

My editing style leans into moody, vintage tones, drawing inspiration from old-school film photography rather than polished digital perfection. I prioritize skin tones, natural textures, and the raw feeling of the setting.

Travel & Logistics

Based in Mumbai, I am constantly on the move. Whether it is a cultural festival in rural India, a documentary project, or a lifestyle shoot, I travel where the story is. I come prepared for any environment—dust, rain, or snow—and I ensure data redundancy with dual SD card recording to protect every shot. If you have a story that needs to be told, let’s talk about how we can document it.
