Cinematic Travel Films & Photography

I turn your travel stories into films that actually feel real. From mountain treks to city chaos, let's catch the vibe while you live it.

This is my cinematic travel film from a winter trip to Spiti Valley. We were chasing the snow, and after three days, it finally happened. I focused on telling the story of that journey, capturing everything from the prayers at Dhankar Monastery to the sheer joy of the first snowfall. This is the kind of authentic travel documentary I create.

There's nothing like that golden hour glow on a Goa beach. I focus on capturing pure, unscripted joy, turning a simple walk by the sea into a beautiful memory. This is perfect for solo travelers or anyone looking to capture the feeling of freedom on their trip.

Capturing the iconic Key Monastery with its prayer flags against the snow-covered mountains of Spiti was a dream. This shot shows my passion for framing epic landscapes and capturing the cultural heart of a destination in a single, powerful image.

This travel film follows a trek through Kasol, Tosh, and Kheerganga. It’s not just about the mountains; it’s about the journey on foot, the people you meet, and the small moments along the trail. I use smooth gimbal shots and thoughtful color grading to bring the adventure to life.

A candid moment from a couple's trip in Goa. My goal for romantic getaways is to capture the genuine connection between two people in a beautiful setting. It’s about creating natural, heartfelt images that feel like a scene from your own movie.

The journey is just as important as the destination. This shot of pure happiness while leaning out of a train captures the spirit of travel itself. I look for these small, authentic moments that define an entire trip.

A snapshot of a friends' trip in Goa, complete with scooters and sunshine. I love capturing the dynamic of group travel, creating fun, vibrant photos that document the shared adventure and the memories you make together.

About this collection

I don’t stage these shots. Whether I'm running alongside you on a trek with a gimbal or grabbing a quick candid photo on a phone, I’m looking for the messy, genuine moments. You focus on the trip, and I’ll handle the tech and grading to make it look like a film.

Travel is rarely as perfect as the postcards, and I think that's where the best stories are. My work is built on a run-and-gun style because I've found that the moment you tell someone to pose, the magic fades.

My Approach to Travel Films

I carry a hybrid kit. Depending on the terrain—whether I'm trekking through Spiti Valley or riding scooters in Goa—I switch between a Sony cinema setup for 4K narrative shots and a high-end mobile rig for raw, POV aesthetics.

  • Run-and-Gun Cinematography: I move with you. I don't set up heavy lighting rigs or stop you for hours. I capture the journey while you're actually doing the thing.
  • Authentic Color Grading: I spend hours in DaVinci Resolve not to make everything look fake, but to enhance the mood of the location, whether that's the moody blue of a monsoon in Lonavala or the golden warmth of a beach sunset.
  • Sound Design: A film isn't just visuals. I layer ambient sounds—the crunch of snow, the wind, or local street noise—with the music to make you feel like you're back there.

I’m based in Mumbai but have been lucky enough to shoot across India, from the high-altitude trails of the Himalayas to the hidden corners of Maharashtra. If you’re planning a trip and want something that doesn't look like a generic travel montage, send me a message.

I’m Rahul, and I’m happiest when I’m behind a lens with a pack on my back. I’m a bit of a gear nerd who loves color grading, but mostly, I just love catching the stories people tell when they’re out wandering.
