About this collection

Shooting in the monsoon is about managing gear in high-humidity, unpredictable environments. Whether I am riding through Nane Ghat or trekking to a waterfall, I use weather-sealed cameras and dry storage to ensure we keep capturing the narrative even when the skies open up.

The monsoon in the Western Ghats is not just a season, it is a character. My approach to these shoots is to treat the landscape as a living, breathing subject. When I head out to locations like Junnar or the trails of Malshej Ghat, I am looking for the contrast between the intense, dark moods of the mountains and the vibrant green of the new crops.

My process is hybrid. I carry my Royal Enfield into the heart of the mist because that mobility allows me to reach spots larger crews cannot. On these rides, I switch between shooting cinematic video of the road and candid stills of the local farmers and village life. I avoid heavy lighting setups that feel artificial. Instead, I rely on the soft, diffused light of overcast skies and the natural haze to create those moody, vintage-inspired frames you see in my gallery.

If you want to document a road trip, a personal project, or simply the feeling of escaping into the wild, we will plan the route together. I focus on raw storytelling. We do not need posed smiles. We need the dirt on your boots, the rain on your jacket, and the genuine sense of freedom that comes with being lost in the mountains.
