This is the central courtyard of a Banaras haveli, reimagined. The design balances grand scale and intricate detail, featuring hand-carved stone pillars and geometric flooring under a magnificent chandelier, all celebrating India's rich architectural heritage with modern clarity.

For this resort in the Himalayan foothills, I designed a space where architecture and nature merge. The infinity pool reflects the surrounding greenery, while the structure's clean lines and natural materials create a sanctuary of modern, biophilic luxury.

The reception of the DLF Thrive Gym in Chennai is designed to energize. The vibrant yellow, a nod to the city's spirit, combines with dynamic 'noodle' lighting and a sleek, curved desk to create a high-impact welcome for a state-of-the-art fitness experience.

Detail is everything in creating ambiance. In this club bar, the contrast between the plush red velvet of the stool, the deep green paneling, and the warm glow from a classic table lamp creates a composition that feels both sophisticated and inviting.

This 5000 sq ft villa in Goa is designed to embrace its tropical setting. The architecture blends traditional Goan elements with a modern aesthetic, featuring large glass panels and an open layout that connects the interior living spaces directly to the paddy fields beyond.

A formal dining space within the Banaras haveli, where heritage is felt in every texture. The design combines a rustic wooden ceiling and a traditional rug with elegant seating and a dramatic chandelier, creating a perfect setting for memorable gatherings.

True design is born from craftsmanship. Here, a local artisan carefully places a hand-carved piece of Chunar sandstone, a detail that embodies my commitment to using regional materials and traditional techniques to give a space its authentic soul.

This double-height living room is the heart of a heritage home I restored. My goal was to create a space that feels grand yet intimate, balancing bold color with contemporary furniture and traditional art. The design emphasizes scale, natural light, and a seamless connection to the outdoors.8
I believe a home should be a retreat, and this penthouse rooftop is the ultimate urban oasis. I designed this space with a pool, custom decking, and comfortable lounge areas to be perfect for both quiet relaxation and entertaining guests against the city skyline.
This bedroom is designed as a personal sanctuary. The tropical-themed wallpaper creates a focal point and a sense of escape, while the neutral color palette, clean lines, and soft textures make the room feel calm and restful.
My architectural work often involves using honest materials like brick and concrete. This facade design shows how I combine these raw textures with large glass panels and integrated greenery to create a modern home that feels warm, grounded, and connected to nature.

This is the Museum of Art & Photography (MAP) in Bangalore, a project that embodies our approach to creating public landmarks. The building's stainless steel-clad structure, inspired by post-industrial water tanks, engages with the city's history while creating a modern, accessible space for art and community.10
The interior of the 'House of Stories' in Bengaluru, a space designed for an author. We used raw, board-formed concrete not as a backdrop, but as a primary material, sculpting it to catch and hold light in ways that create moments of quiet and deep nuance.

We designed this residence as a study in juxtaposition and composition. The structure spans 19,000 square feet, with protruding masses and recessed voids creating a dynamic interplay of architectural elements that form a distinct vocabulary of modern luxury design.10
This timeless residence is designed to blend seamlessly with nature. Featuring an off-white facade, elegant white moldings, and rich wooden accents, this classic farmhouse exudes a warmth and sophistication that creates a serene and inviting retreat.
A space where modern design meets architectural intent. We used floor-to-ceiling glass windows to flood the interiors with natural light, while a distinct grid ceiling and sculptural furniture pieces define the living area as a curated, contemporary masterpiece.
The main staircase is the heart of the home. We positioned it strategically to invite natural light through a screened glass facade, balancing openness with privacy and creating a powerful dynamic that connects the inside to the greenery outside.

This living room in Dhaka is a conversation between scale and intimacy. We flooded the double-height space with natural light through vast windows, creating an airy sanctuary that still feels warm and grounded. The design blends exposed brick, a dramatic custom chandelier, and a curated mix of contemporary and classic furniture to reflect a well-traveled, soulful life.10
In this San Francisco home, we opened up the living area to the kitchen, creating a seamless flow for family life. The exposed wooden beams on the vaulted ceiling add rustic warmth, contrasting with the clean lines of the olive green kitchen cabinetry. It’s a space designed for connection, where cooking, conversation, and relaxation happen all at once.
This is the staircase in my own studio, a building we brought back to life after it lay silent for 40 years. We preserved the home's history, keeping the original mitti and brick walls and pairing them with bold, patterned floor tiles. It’s a daily reminder that every space has a story waiting to be told.
We designed this Calcutta living room to feel like a warm embrace. It’s a space layered with textures and memories, from the vintage-inspired furniture and rich upholstery to the carefully chosen art. The elegant chandelier adds a touch of old-world charm, creating a perfect setting for a family that loves to gather and share stories.

Soulful Heritage Restoration and Modern Interior Design

For this beautiful homestay in Dehradun, I designed the structure to feel like a natural extension of its lush surroundings. The facade and portico create a welcoming embrace, while large windows frame the landscape, blurring the line between inside and out.7
This living room is the heart of a renovated Haveli, where I blended rustic warmth with refined elegance. The exposed stone wall and wood paneling provide a tactile, earthy backdrop for modern furniture, all connected by a traditional brick archway that honors the home's heritage.
I believe architecture should be as captivating after dark as it is in daylight. For this modern residence, I designed a multi-layered lighting scheme that accentuates the clean lines of the facade, illuminates the tropical landscaping, and creates an inviting, dramatic entryway.
True luxury lies in the details. Here, I designed a custom floor where light itself is inlaid into the marble, tracing patterns inspired by traditional Indian motifs. This technique transforms the floor into a unique, glowing art piece.
