About Additional Work & Events
Our modular platform and flexible seating aren't just for show—they let you transform the 1200-1500 sq ft hall from a traditional proscenium stage to an arena layout in minutes. Because we are a true black-box studio, you aren't fighting against fixed architecture; you are working with a blank canvas that keeps your audience close, ensuring every line of dialogue or musical note lands with impact.
Whether you are staging a Pulitzer-winning drama like 'Proof' or hosting an experimental comedy night, Vyoma is built to be a responsive partner for your production.
The Space
We offer an industrial, open floor plan that we keep intentionally simple. You get a full lighting rig with DMX controls and a solid PA system for your sound. Because we are a black-box venue, you can paint the room with light or strip it back to basics for an audition or shoot.
What You Can Host
- Theatre & Drama: Our 70-100 capacity seating ensures the audience is right there with the performers.
- Music & Comedy: The acoustics are warm and intimate, perfect for acoustic sets, poetry slams, or stand-up shows.
- Workshops & Shoots: With the stage cleared, the studio doubles as a spacious, AC-equipped workshop or filming location.
Practical Details
- Technical Staff: Our rental includes the hardware, but keep in mind that a lighting or sound operator is not included. You will need to bring your own tech crew to run the show.
- Revenue Share: For public ticketed events, we charge a base rental plus a modest 8% to 10% revenue share. This helps us keep the space accessible and maintained for everyone.
- Flooring: We are serious about keeping our floor in good shape for dancers and performers, so we ask everyone to respect our soft-soled shoe policy.
