Pricing Guide
7-Hour Black Box Performance Slot
Duration & Capacity
- 7-Hour Block: Exclusive access split between technical setup/rehearsal (approx. 3 hours) and show window (approx. 4 hours).
- Seating: Approx. 70 to 100 foldable metal/plastic chairs arranged in flexible configurations (proscenium, arena, or sandwich).
- Stage Area: 1200-1500 sq ft hall with dark flooring, masked black walls, and modular stage platforms.
Technical Hardware
- Lighting Rig: Overhead truss system with mixed Par Cans and LED spots, including DMX console usage.
- Sound Setup: PA system with wall-mounted speakers, mixer, aux playback, and 2 corded microphones.
- Climate Control: Air-conditioning and wall-mounted fans included.
Backstage & Facilities
- Green Room: Partitioned changing area for artists.
- Mezzanine: Access to loft area for technical crew or photography.
Critical Cost Conditions
- Revenue Share: Base rent is supplemented by an additional fee of 8% to 10% of total ticket sales for public events.
- Technician Staff: Equipment is included, but a lighting/sound operator is not included and must be hired separately.

Workspace Specs
- Open Floor: Full access to studio floor with seating removed for movement, dance, or blocking.
- Lighting: Standard ambient work lights (tubelights/CFLs) only; theatrical stage rig is not active.
- Audio: Access to basic sound system for phone or laptop music playback.
Amenities
- Climate Control: AC usage included in the hourly rate.
- Teaching Aids: Whiteboard or flipchart available upon request.
- Privacy: Closed-door usage without walk-in interruptions.
Booking Policies
- Minimum Duration: Requires a minimum block of 2 to 3 hours.
- Footwear: Strict policy requiring soft-soled shoes or barefoot usage to protect the painted floor surface.

Why Vyoma?
I run Vyoma as more than just a black-box studio. For me, it’s a home for creators who want to try something new, raw, or different. I see all kinds of folks here, from seasoned theatre troupes to first-timers figuring stuff out. Art should feel accessible, so I keep things simple and open for all.

My Story
Seven years back, we dreamt up VYOMA right here in JP Nagar, just wanting a black-box spot for folks to create. Our kids’ theatre? That’s our heart. It’s not only drama - kids here try everything, from costumes to stage lights. The applause they get, man, pure magic. We’ve had Kannada plays, English thrillers, Tamil songs, Bharatanatyam… all sorts. People call us a hidden gem, and honestly, we’re just grateful, ready for more madness in our eighth year.
