Classic & Creative Studio Pet Portraits
A controlled, fun environment for your pet's personality to shine. From timeless studio portraits to colorful action shots, we capture your furry friend's true character.
A look at the variety of classic pet portraits I create in the studio. From the happy smile of a golden retriever to the bright eyes of a poodle, I use professional lighting and simple backdrops to let your pet's unique character take center stage.
Studio sessions can be full of energy and fun. For this golden retriever's portrait, we used a vibrant, colorful backdrop and plenty of treats to capture his playful personality and hilarious expressions in action.
I have a special place in my heart for Indies and rescue dogs. This studio session shows how I create a comfortable environment to capture the handsome and gentle nature of this wonderful Indie dog.
About Classic & Creative Studio Portraits
My studio in Matunga is designed for your pet’s comfort, not just for the camera. We spend 10 to 15 minutes just letting your dog settle in and sniff around before we start, which is exactly why the expressions you see here—the genuine joy and curiosity—are so clear in the final shots.
Photography isn’t just about the frame for me. It’s about creating a safe space where your dog feels like themselves. In my studio, we eliminate outdoor chaos to focus on the textures and expressions that often get lost in a busy park.
The Studio Experience
I offer two distinct directions for our session. If you want something timeless, we go with the minimalist approach—solid grey or black backgrounds that keep the focus entirely on your pet's eyes and fur texture. If your dog is a bundle of energy, we switch to our pop-themed setups with bright colors, polka dots, and plenty of squeakers to catch them mid-action.
How We Make It Happen
- Eye-Level Comfort: I spend most of the session on the floor. Getting down to their level makes them feel like we are just hanging out, not performing.
- Pacing: I know not every dog is a natural model. We have a buffer period for them to get used to the lighting and the environment.
- The Gear: I use professional strobe lighting to capture sharp details, like individual whiskers or the glint in their eyes, but I keep the sound level low to avoid startling sensitive pets.
What You Get
Every 90-minute session includes two thematic setups and 10 high-resolution retouched edits. I handle the details—fur cleanup, tear-stain reduction, and even removing safety leashes in post-production—so you walk away with a gallery that looks clean, professional, and entirely authentic to your pet's personality.
