Your pet’s comfort is the priority for every session. Whether we are in the studio with treats and props or outdoors during the golden hour, I spend the first 15 minutes letting them sniff around to get familiar with the equipment. We never force a pose; we go at their pace until they are relaxed enough to be themselves.
My Approach to Pet Photography
Photography is just a tool for freezing the real stuff that makes your bond with your pet special. I don't believe in stiff poses or high-pressure environments. My goal is to capture those little, authentic details—the soft look in their eyes, the wild zoomies, or a paw resting on your hand.
Studio Portraits
If you want a timeless look, my climate-controlled studio in Matunga East is the space for it. I set up the lighting and backdrops before your pet arrives so they don't feel overwhelmed. We can go for a minimalist aesthetic with solid grey or black backgrounds, or a 'pop' theme with colorful props and polka dots. My process includes eye-level shooting and the use of squeakers to catch those hilarious expressions. Every session includes fur cleanup and subtle retouching to ensure the final images are polished but natural.
Outdoor & Lifestyle Sessions
For a more natural vibe, we hit Mumbai's parks or beaches during the golden hour. These sessions are perfect for family or maternity shoots where you want to include your furry friend. I focus on candid interaction, capturing the relationship between you and your pet rather than just a portrait.
A Special Note on Rescues
I am a dog parent myself and hold a special place in my heart for Indie dogs and rescues. I understand that these pets often need extra patience and space. If your dog is shy or a rescue, we take the time they need to feel safe. My bag is always stocked with their favorite treats and toys to keep them happy and focused throughout our time together.
