About Your Story in Henna: Figurative & Portrait Designs

When I create portraits, I start with a rough sketch on paper to get the proportions and likeness right before applying the henna. This collaborative approach means we can tweak expressions or details for your wedding or baby shower, so the final design is a perfect reflection of your story.

Whether it is the intricate lines of a bride and groom portrait for a wedding or symbolic figures for a Godh Bharai, I believe mehndi should tell a story. Unlike standard patterns, figurative henna requires patience and precision. My process begins with understanding the emotion you want to capture, whether it is the love of a couple, the excitement of a new baby, or the devotion of a Karwa Chauth ritual.

Once we decide on the theme, I map out the space to ensure the portrait sits perfectly on your palm or forearm. I use my own chemical-free, natural henna mix, which is safe for skin and essential for getting that deep, dark stain needed for portraits to stand out.

I have worked on various figurative pieces, from Bollywood actor portraits to traditional religious motifs. If you are in Mumbai, from Mira Road to the city center, I can travel to your location. Whether you want an elaborate bridal piece or a smaller, sentimental sketch for a festival, I handle every line with the same focus on detail and tradition.
