About Designs for Teej, Gangour & Navratri

For festivals, I always focus on designs that balance intricacy with comfort. My festive patterns typically extend just past the wrist, giving you a full, rich look that doesn't get in the way when you are dancing during Garba or performing puja rituals. I use only my own home-mixed natural henna, which guarantees that deep, dark stain within 24 to 48 hours.

Festivals are when the art of mehndi truly comes alive. For occasions like Teej and Gangour, I lean into traditional motifs that represent the season and the ritual. Think sweeping peacocks for Hariyali Teej, dancing figures for Navratri, and the classic 'kalash' or 'jaal' patterns that symbolize prosperity.

My approach to festival mehndi is all about storytelling. Whether it is a tiny hidden symbol for your husband on Karwa Chauth or a bold, geometric mandala for a Navratri celebration, I want the design to feel like it belongs to your story.

I work primarily with traditional Indian and Rajasthani styles because they offer that density and richness that looks beautiful during evening celebrations under festive lights. Because I prepare my own henna cones using organic ingredients and eucalyptus oil, you can expect a stain that develops into a rich maroon, perfect for the long nights of dancing and celebration ahead.

I travel to locations across the Mumbai Metropolitan Area. If you have a specific festival theme or a design idea involving figures or portraits, let me know. I love a challenge and am always happy to create something unique for your event.
