Commercial Architecture and Retail Design Portfolio
We believe well-designed spaces can genuinely boost business productivity and improve daily life. From transforming national retail chains to creating sustainable commercial hubs, here is a look at our approach to thoughtful design.
This is the centerpiece of our award-winning Tata Hitachi dealership design. We repurposed an actual shipping container into a fully functional, glass-walled meeting room, creating a bold statement about industrial aesthetics and innovative workspace solutions.
A view of the spacious and modern interior of a redesigned Maruti Suzuki Arena showroom. We focused on creating an open, welcoming environment with clear sightlines to the cars, comfortable customer seating areas, and dynamic ceiling and lighting design to enhance the retail experience.
This render showcases the grand entrance concept for the Central Business District 79 project. We designed a nearly 100-meter long welcome court with a sweeping overhead arch, multi-lane drop-off, and integrated water features to create a memorable and impressive arrival experience.
The facade of the Global City Centre 2 in Gurgaon, a project where we integrated a clubhouse and lifestyle amenities on the upper floors. This strategic design makes the entire commercial building more financially viable and creates a vibrant, mixed-use destination.
The open-plan workspace at the Tata Hitachi office, featuring suspended shelving and workstations arranged for collaboration. The design uses a mix of industrial materials and natural wood tones to create a productive and inspiring atmosphere.

About this collection
We often get asked if industrial design can feel premium. For our Tata Hitachi dealership project, we proved it by turning a standard shipping container into a glass-walled meeting room. It is not just an aesthetic choice; it is about creating flexible, high-impact spaces that respect your budget while changing how your team collaborates.
At VMA, we view every site not as a static plot, but as an opportunity to impact the city's fabric. Our work spans from large-scale mixed-use planning to high-spec retail rollouts, always driven by the principle that form must follow function.
Retail & Brand Transformation
We understand that retail environments need to do more than look good; they must convert footfall into sales. For the Maruti Suzuki Arena transformation, we moved beyond surface-level changes. We analyzed customer journey mapping and zoning to ensure that the physical layout guides buyers naturally through the showroom. Whether it is a single boutique store or a national chain, our design teams focus on durable material specifications that withstand high traffic while maintaining brand consistency.
Commercial & Office Efficiency
For corporate and commercial projects, our focus is on financial and operational viability. In our projects across Gurugram and Sohna, we frequently find that upper floors and basements are underutilized. We reverse this by integrating lifestyle amenities like rooftop clubhouses or using tapered skylights to bring daylight into basement levels, effectively turning 'dead space' into rentable, productive areas. Our office layouts prioritize productivity zoning—splitting floor plates into focus stations, collaboration hubs, and acoustic-treated zones to help teams adapt as they grow.
Our Design Methodology
We do not believe in cookie-cutter architecture. Every project receives a custom strategy:
- Sustainability: We design for low running costs, focusing on energy efficiency and low-maintenance materials.
- Technical Rigor: From MEP coordination to GFC (Good for Construction) drawings, we manage the technical heavy lifting so you do not have to.
- Local Context: We design with site specifics in mind, whether it is maximizing the FAR (Floor Area Ratio) in a dense urban environment or integrating local climate controls.
