My Approach to Commercial Filmmaking

Commercial filmmaking relies on three things: script, lighting, and a solid crew. I shoot using the Nikon Z9 with cinema-grade lenses, focusing on clean raw footage that makes the post-production color grading process precise. Whether it is a bridal fashion film or a high-energy ad campaign, I manage the full workflow. This includes scripting, tech recce, and post-production.

The Workflow

• Pre-Production: We start with a mood board to define the aesthetic. If the shoot requires a specific look, we plan the technical recce beforehand to avoid issues on set.
• Production: My team and I handle the lighting grid, usually utilizing Aputure or Godox systems for signature moody looks. I don't do this alone; I work with stylists, makeup artists, and production managers to keep the set moving smoothly.
• Post-Production: The magic happens here. From color grading LOG footage to sound design, Foley, and SFX, I ensure the final output is broadcast-ready. I also deliver cut-down versions optimized for social media reels, so you have content that works across platforms.
