I transform public figures and fashion brands into cinematic narratives. Every shoot is a story told through light, texture, and movement.

A full-length shot of Masoom Minawala for her Elle Digital cover story. The focus here is on the dramatic silhouette and the movement of the pleated fabric, creating an image of effortless grace and power.

Another look from the Elle Digital cover shoot with Masoom Minawala. This heavily embellished, feather-like garment required a different approach to styling and lighting to capture its texture and opulence against a rich, warm background.

An artistic outtake from the Elle cover shoot with Masoom Minawala. This close-up, black and white portrait emphasizes the intricate details of the headpiece and the model's expressive gaze, creating a more intimate and abstract fashion photograph.

A styled portrait of Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas with a classic Mumbai auto-rickshaw. This shot was about creating a narrative that felt both glamorous and grounded, a fusion of Hollywood style and Indian street culture.

A studio portrait of Priyanka Chopra, styled in a draped, multi-patterned ensemble. The lighting is designed to sculpt her form and highlight the rich textures of the fabric, creating a regal and powerful image.

A variation of the studio portrait of Priyanka Chopra. The subtle shift in her pose and gaze offers a different emotional tone, showcasing the versatility we can achieve within a single styling concept.

A collage showing both the final color shot and a candid black and white moment from my shoot with Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas. This juxtaposition highlights the difference between a posed photograph and a captured, spontaneous interaction.

A creative composition from the Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas shoot, playing with monochrome and color to tell a story. This format allows for a dynamic visual narrative within a single frame.

A dramatic, motion-filled shot for an Elle editorial. The model is enveloped in a swirl of vibrant red fabric, becoming one with the wild, natural landscape. This image is pure visual poetry, focused on color, movement, and emotion.

About Magazine Features & Celebrity Collaborations

When I shoot for magazines or celebrities, the magic isn't just in the concept. It is in the unseen work—like managing the drape of an embellished gown so it catches the light exactly right, or coordinating a 3-person team to handle rapid wardrobe changes while we are on the clock. My process ensures the garment flows with the story, whether we are on a studio floor or a Mumbai street.

People often ask if shooting celebrities or high-fashion editorials is different from my regular work. The answer is yes. The intensity is higher, the timelines are tighter, and the stakes—especially when dealing with designer couture—are massive. For features like my Elle Digital covers, I am not just taking a photo. I am responsible for the visual narrative. We start with a moodboard, but the real work happens in the sculptural draping. I personally ensure that every fold of fabric, every shadow, and every piece of jewelry aligns with the cinematic vision we agreed upon.

My workflow for these shoots is strictly structured:

  1. Narrative Alignment: I analyze the subject or the brand DNA. Is the story about romantic nostalgia or modern edge?
  2. Sourcing & Logistics: I do not just pick clothes. I pull options from top-tier designers, manage the pick-ups, and run a dedicated team to keep the garments pristine throughout the shoot.
  3. On-Set Execution: This is where I switch from stylist to director. My assistants handle the steaming and tape, while I focus entirely on the viewfinder, adjusting poses to make sure the silhouette looks premium and intentional.

Whether we are shooting on location in Mumbai with a classic auto-rickshaw or in a controlled studio environment, the goal is always to move past the superficial. We are building a world that feels both luxurious and authentic. If you are looking for an editorial shoot, I bring this exact same rigour. We do not just take pictures; we create visual statements that stand out in a crowded digital space.
