Before we touch a wrench, every bike goes through a full assessment so you know exactly what’s needed. When you book a full service, we strip the bike down to the frame, degrease every single component, and rebuild it from scratch. I don’t hand over any bike until I’ve personally taken it for a test ride to ensure it shifts smooth and feels safe on Mumbai roads.
How We Service Your Bike
Transparency is the core of our work. Whether you are bringing in a daily commuter or a high-end road bike, our process remains rigorous because we know that small issues lead to bigger problems down the road.
1. The Initial Assessment
We start with a thorough check. No guesswork. We look for play in the bearings, check the drivetrain for wear, and listen for the specific rattles you might have noticed. This tells us if you need a basic tune-up or a deeper overhaul.
2. The Deep Strip-Down
For our Premium Drivetrain and Full Restoration packages, we don't just wipe things down. We take the bike apart. We remove the crankset, cassette, and derailleurs, giving them a dedicated solvent bath to remove 100% of the old, gritty grease that grinds down your gears.
3. Rebuild and Tune
We rebuild with fresh grease and precise adjustments. This includes:
- Gear Indexing: Dialing in your derailleurs so shifting is crisp and instant.
- Brake Calibration: Aligning your pads or calipers so you get stopping power, not just noise.
- Wheel Truing: Removing those annoying wobbles to ensure your rims stay straight.
4. The Mumbai Monsoon Factor
Living in Mumbai means dealing with grit, sand, and constant water. Our maintenance doesn't just treat the bike; it protects it. We apply specific wet-weather lubricants to chains and seal critical components to fight off rust, giving your bike a fighting chance against the elements.
