About Chenda Melam Performance
Traditional Kerala Vibes, Loud and Clear
We’re not just another drum group. Chenda Melam is pure Kerala energy - loud, rhythmic, and totally celebratory. When we step in, it’s like bringing home the real sound of a Kerala fest. Our team lives and breathes this art, so what you get is nothing short of authentic.
What Makes Us Stand Out
- You’ll hear real, powerful Kerala rhythms. No shortcuts. We stick to authentic Melams and perform with genuine Chenda drums.
- Our team is all experienced male artists. We know how to play in sync, and that unity is what creates the full impact.
- You’ll see us in traditional white mundu and veshti, so the vibe looks as real as it sounds.
Where We Bring the Beat
Our Chenda Melam fits big moments. We’re regulars at Kerala wedding chenda melam performances, housewarming chenda performance gigs, college fest Kerala drumming, and temple festival percussion group events. Whether it’s a baraat, oonjal ceremony, or a temple procession, we know how to build the mood.
How We Roll
We can set up at the entrance to welcome your guests, or lead a crowd in a full-on procession. The vibe is loud, festive, and always gets people moving. If you want something real, energetic, and straight from Kerala, you’ll get it with us.

My Story
Namaskaram! We are V4 Kalasamithi, a bunch of chenda lovers from Kerala, now jamming in Bangalore. Chenda beats are in our blood - every festival back home, every celebration, that’s the sound we grew up with. Now we bring that same joy, same thalam (rhythm), to weddings, college fests, housewarmings here. When we play and see people smiling, dancing, it feels like home. We’re not just a group, we’re family sharing our tradition.
