What We Do

Our hearts beat for Shinkarimelam & Chendamelam. When we show up, it’s not just sound - it’s a full-on Kerala percussion band Bangalore experience. Dressed in tradition, we play those powerful chenda drums and ilathalam cymbals, creating a next-level mood for any event.

You want pure tradition? You get it. Feeling adventurous? We’ve got fusion jams, sometimes with violin or other artists, mixing in film BGMs or even pop hits. If you want a Chenda fusion performance, we’re game.

The Hustle

Playing chenda isn’t easy - that drum weighs 13 kilos. Onnu thookki nokkiye (Just try lifting it). We go hard for hours, sometimes three hours straight, pushing through the pain because, for us, this art is everything. Oru pain und, oru pain threshold und. Shariyalle? (There is pain, a pain threshold, right?)

Where You’ll Find Us

We light up weddings, college fest Chendamelam events, temple processions, and even corporate functions. Our team is tight-knit, and when we play together, it feels like family.

Based in Bangalore, but we love to travel. From Tumkur to Gujarat, we’re always ready to bring the beats wherever you want.
