How we perform
- Entrance & Welcomes: For events like weddings or housewarmings, we focus on a sharp, rhythmic entry that sets the tone immediately. We arrive early to tune our drums and ensure our traditional Mundu and Veshti attire is perfect.
- Processions & Baraats: This requires stamina and coordination. We use a larger group of 10 or more artists to maintain high energy while walking, often incorporating Shinkari-style steps to keep the crowd engaged.
- Festival Sets: For larger events, we bring a 15-person configuration. This is where we use the full range of Uruttu and Veekku Chenda drums to create that wall of sound that keeps a crowd moving for hours.
Practical details
We provide our own instruments and manage our transport within the Bangalore Urban district. All we require from your side is a dedicated space to change and easy access to water. Whether you need a 45-minute welcome set or a two-hour procession lead, we adjust our performance blocks to match your schedule. Our goal is to bring that authentic Kerala festival vibe to your event, regardless of the scale.
