About Specialized Workshops & Styles
Most of these workshops are open-level, so you don't need years of training to jump in. We break down the technical bits—like the sharp isolations in Belly Fusion or the performance projection in Jazz—into simple, manageable chunks. You walk into the studio curious and walk out having mastered a specific routine, regardless of whether you've danced for a day or a decade.
My studio isn't just about repetition; it's about expanding your movement vocabulary. These specialized workshops are for anyone who wants a break from the standard routine and is eager to try something technical yet accessible.
Why Specialized Workshops?
Regular classes focus on progression and long-term skill building. Workshops, however, are micro-doses of intensity. They are perfect for:
- Exploring new styles: If you're curious about the fluidity of Belly Fusion or the sharp, dramatic style of Broadway Jazz, you get to test the waters without committing to a full-term course.
- Quick wins: You learn a full, polished choreography in a single or weekend session. It's about that '2-minute magic' where you feel the music and move with confidence.
- Confidence building: Focusing on genres like Heels or urban styles forces you to work on your posture, stage presence, and how you carry yourself, which translates to every other dance form you try.
Where We Move
We rotate these specialized sessions across our locations in Bandra, Khar, Powai, Versova, and Andheri West. Some sessions are small and intimate for focused technical work, while others are high-energy group experiences meant for social, fun interaction.
What You Need to Know
- Preparation: Come in comfortable clothes that allow movement, especially for floor work in contemporary or Jazz sessions.
- The Vibe: These aren't judgemental environments. Whether we are doing a retro Bollywood piece or an experimental fusion, the priority is that you enjoy the process of learning. If you trip over your feet, we laugh, fix the step, and keep dancing.
