For the serious swimmer ready to trade leisure laps for podium finishes. We focus on advanced technique, race strategy, and the discipline needed to shave seconds off your personal best.

For my competitive swimmers, the start is everything. We practice our dives relentlessly, making sure every entry is powerful and clean. This is what dedication looks like on the starting blocks.

Sunday is for sprints. Here are my advanced kids and adults putting in the work during a high-energy session. It's great to see parents and kids pushing each other in the lanes.

This is what it's all about. A team of happy, proud swimmers showing off their hard-earned medals. I am incredibly proud of the work these kids put in day after day.

Demonstrations are one of the best ways to teach technique. Here, I'm showing the proper form, and it’s great to see my students follow the instructions so closely to perfect their own strokes.

These are my all-stars. To earn this, they completed a 500m non-stop freestyle, a 200m individual medley, 100m of all four strokes, and more. This is the standard we aim for.

Welcoming our newest Marlins to the competitive team, even on a rainy evening. These kids earned their promotion from the pre-competitive squad through hard work and are ready to start racing.

The celebration continues for our newly promoted competitive swimmers. Their dedication throughout the year has paid off, and now they'll get to experience the thrill of swim meets.

Our team had a great weekend at the inter-school event, with six individual champions. Here are some of our talented girl swimmers, ready for their races.

A look back at 2023: full of medals, millions of meters swum, and the incredible hard work of our swimmers and coaches. It's all about the community and our shared love for the sport.

A collage of our swimmers' recent achievements. From podium finishes to personal bests, perseverance and hard work always pay off. I'm proud of every single one of them.

About Competitive Squad: Training for the Podium

These sessions are not for casual fitness. We work on technical details like precise flip turns, power-based dive starts, and underwater efficiency—the small margins that decide a race. Expect 5 AM starts, high-intensity sets, and direct, honest feedback on your stroke because that is what performance requires.

Training for the Podium

Competitive swimming is a game of millimeters. Whether you are aiming for district-level meets or looking to qualify for nationals, the gap between a personal best and a podium finish is often found in the details of your training. At my academy, we run a rigorous program designed to build athletes from the ground up.

What Our Squads Do

My coaching methodology, built over 20 years, is rooted in the ASCA (American Swimming Coaches Association) Level 5 standards. We don't just swim laps. We focus on:

  • Advanced Stroke Correction: I break down your freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly until the movement is efficient.
  • Dry-Land Training: Swimming isn't just in the water. We incorporate functional fitness, core stability, and stretching routines to ensure your body can handle the load.
  • Race Strategy: Understanding pace, drafting, and how to handle the pressure of the blocks is just as important as your physical strength.
  • High-Volume Sets: Be prepared for 5 to 6 sessions per week. We do the heavy lifting in the morning so you are ready to perform when the competition starts.

The NMSA Community

We train as a crew. You will see kids and adults alike pushing through fatigue, cheering during sprints, and learning that progress is a team effort. We operate out of multiple locations across Bangalore, including key facilities like Hilton Embassy GolfLinks and the XLR8 Indoor Stadium, ensuring that our elite athletes have access to standard, clean, and fast water.

This is a commitment. You show up, you listen, and you put in the work. In return, I provide the structure, the plan, and the environment you need to see how fast you can actually go.

I have spent 20 years in the water, coaching everyone from first-timers to competitive racers. I don't believe in taking the easy route; I believe in showing up, doing the work, and building the grit you need to win.
