It's never too late to learn a new skill. Here, my adult intermediate class is working on flip turns, a technique that makes your laps smoother and more efficient. The excitement on their faces says it all.
Our adult squad is proof that you can find a strong community at any age. We train hard together and support each other through every lap. This is our team.
We call this "social kicking." It’s a great way to get your workout in while catching up with your swim buddies. Our wide lanes give everyone plenty of space to train and chat.
A quick reminder to always stretch before and after your swim. Just 5 to 10 minutes of dynamic and static stretches can help activate your muscles, improve mobility, and prevent injury.
About Adults: It's Never Too Late
Many of our adult students arrive with a genuine fear of water or concerns about fitness levels, and that is perfectly okay. We don't believe in jumping straight into the deep end; we use structured drills, like kickboard exercises and wall-based breathing practice, to help you get comfortable. You will find that once you nail the basics, the pool stops being a source of anxiety and starts becoming your favorite place to get fit and meet like-minded people.

Learning to swim as an adult is different from learning as a child. You have different goals—usually a mix of safety, fitness, and wanting to finally conquer that phobia. Our classes are designed to meet you where you are. We focus heavily on technique, breaking down your strokes so you aren't just splashing around, but actually moving efficiently through the water.
What to Expect in Our Adult Squads
- Safety First: If you are a total beginner, we start with water safety. Floating, breathing, and basic buoyancy are the building blocks. We move at your pace, not the clock's.
- Technique Matters: For those looking to get faster or swim longer, we focus on stroke correction. Whether it is backstroke, freestyle, or mastering a flip turn, we demonstrate the movement, you try it, and we repeat until it clicks.
- The Social Aspect: Swimming is often a solo sport, but it doesn't have to be. Our 'social kicking' sessions and group drills mean you will train alongside people who are just as dedicated as you are. It is common to see students catching up during rest periods in the lanes at our locations like Koramangala or HSR Layout.
