Behind the Scenes: Our Interior Design Process
See the real work behind a finished home. We take you through our process of material testing, on-site collaboration, and the final styling that brings a space to life.
The design process starts with a sea of possibilities. Here, our table is covered with fabric swatch books as we curate the perfect color and texture palette for a new home.

Here I am, making final adjustments to the artwork placement at the Vishu Home. Styling is the final touch that transforms a house into a home, and we love being hands-on in this stage.

About Behind the Scenes: From Concept to Creation
We don't just select materials from a showroom catalog. We bring swatches, textured finishes, and fabric samples directly to your site to test how they react to your home's natural light before we commit. This hands-on validation ensures the color palette feels balanced once the space is finished, preventing the common frustration of materials looking different at home than they did in the store.
A finished interior is only half the story. Behind every final photograph of a polished living room or a pristine bedroom is a journey of collaboration, technical planning, and sometimes, intense problem-solving on-site. When we work on a project like the Vishu Home, the process starts long before any furniture arrives. We begin with a deep dive into how our clients live, translating those habits into 3D visualizations and detailed AutoCAD drawings that guide our contractors through every wall modification and ceiling installation.
Our approach relies on heavy collaboration. Whether we are working with our trusted execution partners or coordinating with fellow design studios, we prioritize a shared vision. You will often find us on-site checking the grain of a veneer or adjusting the lighting layout for a mandir space to ensure the area feels right. Styling is the final chapter of this process. It is when we place the last piece of artwork or adjust the drapes that a house truly begins to feel like a home. We believe that by staying hands-on throughout the construction phase, we can maintain the integrity of the design while handling the realities of site work, such as adjusting timelines or sourcing alternative materials when necessary. This isn't just about finishing a job; it is about making sure the space is ready to support your daily life from the moment you move in.
