The Interior Design Process: From Raw Site to Finished Home
Beautiful interiors don't just appear. This is a look behind the scenes of my process, from the first material selection and site visit to the final, polished result.
This before-and-after reel shows the complete transformation of a bedroom. We introduced custom wall treatments, improved lighting, and functional furniture to create a completely new and elevated space.
A crucial part of my design process is tile selection. Here I am at a showroom, exploring different patterns, colors, and textures to find the perfect tiles that match the client's vision and budget.
In this video, I explain some popular and budget-friendly materials like moldings, wallpapers, and CNC-cut panels. I enjoy educating my clients about the different options available to enhance their space.
Another glimpse into the material selection process. I work closely with my clients and vendors to choose the right flooring and wall tiles that will define the look and feel of their home.

More progress from an ongoing site. You can see the false ceiling work is done and the base for the furniture is being set up. It's exciting to see the design slowly taking shape.
The painting process in action. Here, my team is carefully applying colors and creating accent wall details. The right paint and finish can completely transform the mood of a room.

About The Design Process: From Site to Finish
You’ve seen the finished photos, but the messy middle is where the real work happens. On my sites, I don’t just hand over a plan and hope for the best; I’m on the ground coordinating with the carpentry team to ensure those custom details we discussed actually fit your space. Whether it’s tweaking the lighting layout mid-installation or matching tile textures to your preferred color palette, I’m right there to make sure the execution matches the vision.
Renovating a home, whether it is a small 2 BHK apartment or a bungalow, involves much more than picking out colors. My design process is built on the belief that you should know exactly what is happening inside your walls before the final finish is applied.
The Discovery & Planning Phase
Everything starts with a conversation. We sit down to discuss your lifestyle, not just your decor preferences. I avoid industry jargon because I want you to feel confident in the decisions we make. During this stage, we align on your budget and I introduce you to materials that are both trending and practical. This is also when we do the 3D visualization, so you can walk through your home digitally before we break a single wall.
Material Selection & Sourcing
I believe in physical touch. I take my clients to showrooms to pick out flooring, laminates, and tiles. This prevents the 'it looked different online' surprise. We look for durability first. I always check the plywood quality, hardware brands like Ebco, and laminate finishes because a beautiful home is useless if the cabinets start sagging in two years.
Site Execution
This is where the magic happens and where most people get stressed. I handle the site supervision in Navi Mumbai, Kharghar, and surrounding areas personally. Whether it is modular kitchen installation or the intricate false ceiling work, I coordinate the team. I prefer regular updates over silence. If we encounter a structural constraint—like a tricky plumbing point or limited space in a guest room—we solve it together on-site. By the time we get to the painting and final decor touches, you’ll know exactly why every corner of your home looks the way it does.
