About this collection
These sessions are not hikes or treks. They are slow, guided sensory walks lasting two hours, where we practice silent observation, mindful breathing, and stillness in selected biodiversity parks. We cover park entry fees and provide tea post-walk, so you just need to arrive on time and keep your phone off for the duration of the walk.
What to Expect
Forest Bathing, or Shinrin-Yoku, is a Japanese practice of taking in the forest atmosphere. It is not exercise, but rather a way to engage your senses to lower stress and improve your mood. During our two-hour sessions, you are guided through a series of sensory exercises designed to help you notice the textures, smells, and sounds of the environment around you.
Why a Digital Detox Matters
We enforce a strict no-phone policy during the core walk. This is intentional. Most of our days are spent reacting to notifications or scrolling through feeds. By leaving your phone behind, you allow your nervous system the space to shift from a state of constant alertness to one of rest and relaxation. You will find that without the distraction of a screen, the natural world becomes far more vibrant and engaging.
Logistics and Preparation
- Who is it for: Anyone who feels burnt out or simply needs a break from the noise of city living. No prior meditation experience is required.
- The Guide: Each walk is led by a certified mindfulness coach who facilitates the sensory engagement and ensures the group remains cohesive.
- Comfort: We end every session with a tea or coffee break, picnic-style, to help you ground yourself before returning to the pace of your day.
We host these sessions in various botanical gardens and biodiversity parks across Pune, Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Goa. Since we keep group sizes small to ensure a tranquil environment, please check availability in your city before planning your weekend.
Trove Experiences
We are a team of curious minds who believe the best way to reset is to trade our screens for the sounds of a forest. We host these walks to help you find that quiet stillness, connecting you with nature and a community of like-minded people.
