About VAGGEYAKARA VAIBHAVAM: Carnatic Showcase

We believe that stage performance is just as important as the practice room. For our Carnatic students, these showcases are designed to simulate real-world conditions, helping them manage the technical demands and performance nerves required to deliver classical compositions accurately.

At Trishan School of Music, we treat the stage as an extension of the classroom. The Vaggeyakara Vaibhavam event was created to give our Carnatic vocal and instrumental students a structured space to present their hard work in a supportive, professional environment.

We teach students the nuances of ragas and talam, but the theory does not stop with the curriculum. Whether a student is performing "Sree Rama Namam" or a complex violin piece like "Raravenu Gopa Bala," they must learn to navigate the coordination required for classical group performances.

Our Carnatic curriculum focuses on:

  • Foundational Training: Geethams and varnams that build pitch accuracy and rhythm.
  • Stage Readiness: Regular rehearsals for events like Vaggeyakara Vaibhavam to manage performance anxiety.
  • Instrumental Integration: Training for violin and percussion accompaniment alongside vocal tracks.

We serve students across Bangalore at our BEML Layout, HSR Layout, and Sarjapur Road centers. Our teaching methodology prioritizes consistency, ensuring that whether you are a beginner or looking for advanced coaching, you develop a solid grasp of the Carnatic tradition.
