About Violin Virtuosos
We require students to bring their own violins for classes, as having an instrument that matches your physical reach is essential for correct posture and long-term comfort. Our instructors provide immediate, personalized technique correction during sessions, ensuring you build a solid foundation whether you are studying Western scales or traditional Carnatic compositions.
At Trishan School of Music, our violin curriculum balances rigorous technical training with the creative joy of performance. We recognize that learning the violin is a physical journey, which is why our syllabus starts with the fundamentals of holding the instrument, bowing techniques, and proper posture.
Our instructors are trained to guide you through two distinct streams:
Carnatic and Western Specializations
Whether you are looking to master the intricate glides of Carnatic music or the precise reading requirements of Western classical scores, we provide targeted lesson plans. We cater to beginners, intermediate players looking to refine their skills, and advanced students preparing for professional grade examinations.
Exam-Ready Preparation
For students aiming for certification, we integrate the requirements of boards like ABRSM and Trinity into your regular classes. This includes music theory, sight-reading, and mock examinations, giving you a clear roadmap to achieving your grade milestones.
Integrating Performance
We believe musicianship is incomplete without the ability to perform. Violin students are encouraged to participate in our monthly open-mic nights held at our HSR Layout, BEML Layout, and Sarjapur Road branches. These events offer a low-pressure setting where you can practice stage presence, learn to perform in ensembles, and gain confidence alongside peers.
Our goal is to ensure you have both the technical proficiency to play complex pieces and the musical understanding to perform them with conviction.
Trishan School of Music
We bridge the gap between rigorous classical technique and the joy of live performance. Whether you are picking up a violin for the first time or preparing for grade exams, our instructors provide the direct feedback needed to master the instrument.
