A collaborative performance featuring a student on violin accompanied by a teacher on the keyboard. This duet of "Minuet" highlights the supportive, hands-on learning environment I foster at my monthly open mic events.
One of my young drum students confidently performing Queen's "We Will Rock You" on an electronic drum kit. My drum lessons focus on building a strong sense of rhythm and playing popular rock and pop songs.
A student showcases his electric guitar skills with a performance of "Sixteen Saltines" on stage. I guide students through everything from basic chords to complex rock guitar solos.
An advanced student performs the iconic theme from "Interstellar" on the piano. My piano curriculum is designed to take students from beginner basics to mastering complex classical and contemporary pieces.
A student demonstrates his skill in Carnatic music with a beautiful rendition of the "Ninnukori" varnam on the violin. I offer specialized training in both Western and Indian classical violin traditions.
A teacher guides a young student through "Jingle Bells" during a keyboard lesson. This shows my patient, one-on-one approach to teaching beginners and making music fun from the very first day.
A group of my students performing the Beatles classic "Yesterday," featuring vocals and multiple guitars. My open mic nights are a great platform for students to learn to play together and build confidence as a band.
I am proud to present a student with her graded music exam certificate. I provide dedicated coaching for international certifications from Trinity, ABRSM, and other prestigious music boards.
About Featured
We believe the real magic happens when you step out of the practice room. That is why our students perform regularly at our open-mic nights, turning solo practice into a shared experience. Whether it is your first time playing in front of an audience or you are polishing a complex classical piece, our stage provides the feedback and confidence you need to grow as a musician.
Learning an instrument is a journey that balances technique with expression. At our school, we provide the structure you need to succeed, whether your goal is to master a Bollywood song or clear an international music grade exam.
Building Foundations
Our curriculum is designed to cater to all levels. For beginners, we focus on the fundamentals: proper posture, rhythm, and basic theory. We use a variety of instruments, from electronic drum kits to acoustic guitars, ensuring you have the right tools to practice effectively. For those pursuing a professional path, our structured ABRSM and Trinity exam prep provides a clear roadmap, covering sight-reading, scales, and theory alongside performance coaching.
The Performance Culture
We host monthly open-mic nights because we know that playing music is ultimately about communication. These events are not stressful recitals but friendly spaces where students meet, collaborate, and learn from one another. Vocalists get to use professional PA systems, while instrumentalists gain experience playing in ensembles. It is about building the habit of performance early, so you feel comfortable on any stage.
Our Approach to Learning
- Flexible Formats: We offer both group batches (3-5 students) for peer learning and private 1-on-1 sessions for intensive technique correction.
- Inclusive Atmosphere: Whether you are in BEML Layout, HSR Layout, or Sarjapur Road, our centers are designed to be buzzing, distraction-free zones for serious learners.
- Practicality: We keep things simple. We provide amps for electric guitars and keyboards for class use, though we do require students to bring their own guitars, violins, and drum sticks.
Music is for everyone. We welcome kids, adults, and seniors, helping each student find their unique rhythm at their own pace.
Trishan School of Music
