From Concept to Creation: Transparent Architectural Design Process
Architecture is more than the finished house. It is the sketches, site analysis, and construction milestones in between. Here is a look at my end-to-end design process.
The Bhoomi Pooja ceremony marks the auspicious start of a new project. This traditional ritual honors the earth and seeks blessings for a smooth construction process, grounding my modern design work in cultural significance.
Every project begins with an idea, translated into form through hand sketches and site plans. This is where I explore the initial concepts and lay the foundation for the architectural design.
A collection of natural materials extracted directly from a project site. This image represents my hands-on approach to sustainable architecture, using locally sourced earth, lime, and other organic elements in construction.
'Project 83' standing tall during construction, wrapped in traditional bamboo scaffolding. This photo captures the building taking shape, showcasing the bold blue balcony feature against the raw concrete and brick structure.
The 'Keremane' lake house under construction, with its primary structure and window openings established. This stage is exciting, as the architectural vision begins to become a physical reality.
This video shows the complete lifecycle of 'Project 83', from the initial site condition to the final constructed form. It highlights key construction milestones, including the concrete framework and the application of exterior finishes.
A detail shot of a natural stone floor, likely Kota stone, selected for its durability and timeless appeal. The subtle variations in the stone's texture and color add character to the interior space.
The reflective surface of a polished stone floor. My material choices prioritize longevity and low maintenance, ensuring the spaces I design are as practical as they are beautiful.

About From Concept to Creation
When you work with me, the process is as visible as the finished structure. We start with rigorous site analysis, mapping sun paths and wind direction, to ensure the design is climate-responsive before a single brick is laid. This upfront work prevents construction surprises and ensures your home naturally breathes.
The architectural journey is rarely linear, but it should be predictable. My process begins long before the structure rises, with site analysis that maps sun-paths and prevailing winds to guide the spatial strategy. Whether it is a luxury farmhouse or a compact urban apartment, we translate these initial hand sketches into a rigorous set of 'Good for Construction' (GFC) drawings.
I believe in the honesty of materials. During construction, you will see us using exposed brick, raw concrete, and Kota stone. We prioritize periodic site supervision at critical milestones, like foundation casting and roofing, to ensure the execution matches the initial vision. We manage the civil shell, custom joinery, and interior finishes, ensuring that every design decision from the early conceptual phase is reflected in the final, lived-in space.
