About Playful Practitioner Training
When teachers try these techniques, the room changes instantly. It is not about perfect performance or memorized lines. It is about simple, practical games that let children express themselves, reduce classroom anxiety, and make learning feel like a natural, joyful process for both the teacher and the child.
Moving from Performance to Process
Most traditional drama in schools focuses on the final act, the stage, and the audience. My workshops shift the focus to the process. We use the Pyjama Drama methodology to turn a classroom into a laboratory of imagination where the goal is not to perform, but to participate. Whether you are looking for a one-off teacher training session or a full academic year curriculum license, the focus remains on equipping educators with tools they can use immediately.
Why This Training Matters
- NEP 2020 & NCF 2022 Alignment: We ensure our activities are not just fun, but compliant with the latest national guidelines for play-based learning.
- Practical, Ready-to-Use: Teachers often feel overwhelmed by complex lesson plans. I provide simple, actionable drama games that require no props and minimal setup, making it easy to integrate into any schedule.
- Building Confidence: The aim is to help quiet children find their voice and help energetic children channel their creativity productively.
What Schools Can Expect
For teacher training workshops, I conduct onsite, 3 to 4-hour modules for up to 30 educators. We break down the 'Playful Practitioner' techniques through role-play simulations and movement activities. Schools opting for the Annual Curriculum License receive a comprehensive 40-week plan tailored for Nursery to Sr KG, complete with music tracks, storytelling scripts, and term-wise quality audits. This is not about giving you a book to read; it is about partnering with your team to create a culture of joy, curiosity, and engagement that lasts throughout the academic year.
Tiny Tribes
I started this journey as a mother looking for a tribe, and it turned into a passion for playful learning. I work with teachers to help them rediscover their own spark so they can bring it to their classrooms every day.
