It was a pleasure to sit down with the principal and teachers at DPS Varanasi to share anecdotes about the impact of storytelling in schools today. These conversations are just as important as the workshops themselves.

The feedback from educators at ICan International School was incredibly heartwarming. This video captures their enthusiasm and highlights how the workshop provided them with creative, practical, and easy-to-implement storytelling techniques.

Hearing directly from teachers after a workshop is the best reward. Listen to their takeaways on learning the nitty-gritty of puppetry, voice modulation, and how they plan to use these new skills in their classrooms and at home.

I love conducting workshops for parents and teachers on how to adapt stories for the classroom and home. Here I am in Tiruchirappalli, demonstrating how to use storytelling to explore different academic concepts.

About Empowering Teachers with Story & Play

My sessions are not just lectures. We focus on the nitty-gritties, like how to handle a puppet while speaking, how to use rhythm to grab student attention, and how to adapt your existing syllabus into a narrative format. You do not need to be a performer to make this work, you just need to be willing to play. By the end of our time together, you will have concrete techniques to integrate into your classroom the very next day.
