About Latin Dance Floor: Salsa & Bachata
In our Latin program, we prioritize lead and follow mechanics over complicated show-off moves. We use a mandatory partner rotation system in every session, which means you learn to dance with different people and get comfortable on any social floor, not just in our studio.
Many people think they need a fixed partner to join a Salsa or Bachata class. At TDA, that is a myth. Our rotation system ensures you learn how to interpret and provide cues for anyone, building your confidence to handle any social dance environment.
We focus heavily on 'Shines'—the solo footwork that gives you balance and rhythm—before we even touch the partner mechanics. Whether you are at our Malad or Andheri studios, you will find that the vibe is less about performance pressure and more about social readiness. Our goal is for you to walk into any dance event and feel capable enough to join the floor.
If you are worried about the technical side, do not be. We break down the frame, the tension, and the floor navigation so clearly that it becomes muscle memory. We have batches that cater to total beginners who want to build a solid foundation and others for those looking to refine their social dancing skills.
