I get asked all the time: 'Is your academy beginner friendly?' The short answer is yes. But there is a reason we do not do quick-fix workshops. Here is the philosophy behind why we focus on foundations first, and how we keep our studio a judgment-free zone for everyone from age 4 to 60.

We get asked about workshops a lot. Here, I explain why we focus on regular classes to build a strong foundation, which is more beneficial for beginners than a one off workshop.

We see three types of learners: beginners, intermediate, and advanced. But everyone started somewhere. At TDA, we don't judge; we just help you grow.

"What all batches do you have?" I answer this common question, explaining that we have plenty of batches for everyone, from 4 year old kids to 60 year old adults.

"Can I join an open choreography batch?" Absolutely yes. Our academy is friendly for all ages, from 14 to 60, to chill, have fun, and learn to perform.

It started with a few students and a lot of passion. Here's the story of how TDA began and how Juhi and I came together to build this community over the last 11 years.

This is the story of how our studio, Youmania, was born. It was our first baby, born from a push to expand during the lockdown, and it has been a blessing ever since.

About From The Founders: Our Teaching Method

Here is the truth about our approach: we do not do one-off trending workshops. Instead, we focus on regular, month-long batches. Why? Because you cannot learn solid technique, rhythm, or safety in a single hour. When you join our classes, you are not just learning a routine for a reel; you are building the coordination and muscle memory that will actually make you a dancer.
