CRAZE: Our Annual Stage Showcase and Performance
CRAZE is where our students step out of the studio and into the spotlight. It is our annual celebration of hard work, community, and the magic that happens when everyone finds their rhythm.
Two months and twenty two days of prep, countless hours, and a whole lot of heart. This is a small glimpse into the madness, the sweat, and the magic that goes into creating our annual show, CRAZE.
CRAZE is not just about choreography. It's about our students' stories, their late night rehearsals, their hustle, and their incredible transformation from the classroom to the stage.
People think we named our show CRAZE because I'm crazy. The truth is, it's named for the 'pagalpan' of our students who come to dance after a long day of work and for our 60 plus year old moms who want to perform on stage. That is craze.
How do you explain the feeling of being on stage to someone who hasn't experienced CRAZE? It's a rush of emotion, a stage full of stories, and a moment where all your hard work pays off.
This is why CRAZE is more than just a show. The feedback from our students and their parents is the real standing ovation for us.

About CRAZE: Our Annual Stage Showcase
Preparing for CRAZE is a three-month journey. We take you from basic technique drills to full-stage choreography, managing everything from your stage presence to the final performance logistics. It does not matter if you are a complete beginner or a seasoned dancer; we focus on building your confidence so you feel at home under the stage lights.
The CRAZE Journey
Many students ask me if they can handle a stage show. The answer is always yes. CRAZE is designed to bridge the gap between classroom learning and live performance. It is a structured process that moves beyond just 'learning steps.'
What to Expect During Preparation:
- Foundational Training: We start by strengthening your core dance skills in our regular batches.
- Performance Batches: As the show date approaches, we transition into specific performance training. This is where we focus on expressions, stage spacing, and group coordination.
- The Final Stretch: We handle the production elements, including costume planning, light cues, and stage direction, so you can focus entirely on your movement.
Who is CRAZE for? It is for everyone. I have had 60-year-old mothers and 4-year-old kids performing in the same showcase. If you have the passion to dance, you have a place on our stage. We believe that if you can move to a beat, you can be a performer.
Building Confidence, Not Just Choreography The goal is not to produce professional dancers in three months. The goal is to give you an experience where you shed your stage fright and embrace the joy of performing. People come to us after 9-to-6 office shifts because they want to let go and have fun. When you stand on that stage and hear the audience cheer, you realise it was worth every drop of sweat.

I am Tijo, the founder of TDA. I started this in 2016 in Andheri to build a space where strangers become family through dance. We are not about fancy titles; we are about real people coming together to move, laugh, and occasionally own the stage at CRAZE.
