I’ve spent years spinning Afro-Latin sets, and for me, the magic happens when the beat hits just right. My social nights, like the ones at Khar Social, are designed to be accessible and fun. We aren’t just playing songs, we are creating a space where you can practice your lead and follow mechanics in a real-world setting, away from the structured class environment.
If you are wondering what to expect, it is a proper mix. We play the popular Salsa tracks you love, but I also love shifting gears into sensual Bachata and smooth Kizomba to keep the energy dynamic. If you have attended my workshops, this is where you take those drills and apply them. If you are brand new, don't worry. The community here is incredibly supportive. Grab a drink, watch, or jump in when you’re ready. It’s all about the 'social' part of social dancing. I curate the playlists to balance between the classics everyone knows and fresh tracks that keep you on your toes all night long.
