About Community Gatherings & Events
When you join one of our gatherings, notice the samai, our traditional brass lamp, lit at the start. It is not just a ritual but a signal that we are putting the chaos of the city outside to focus on the collective energy inside. We keep these sessions open to everyone, so whether you are nervous about your first time or have been practicing for years, you will find your place here.
Our community is the heartbeat of The Yoga Tribe. We believe that when we share the energy of a room, our individual practice becomes more potent. That is why we make it a point to host gatherings that move beyond the studio routine.
From large-scale events like our International Yoga Day celebrations to intimate weekend workshops, our goal is to create a space where judgment falls away. You will see people from all walks of life on these mats—seniors finding movement, young professionals looking to disconnect from screens, and seasoned practitioners deepening their flow.
We focus on the 'Vairagya Bhava'—the art of letting go. In these events, that means letting go of the need to perform perfectly. We teach pranayama and meditation to help you settle into the present moment, surrounded by others who are doing the same. It is a space designed to help you recharge, feel supported, and leave with a little more peace than when you arrived.
The Yoga Tribe Studio
I am Ajinkya, and I started this tribe because I believe we are stronger when we breathe together. My team and I host these gatherings to break the isolation of city life, creating a space where everyone truly belongs.
