Why I Teach DJing
DJing’s been life for me since 2008. What started as Josh aur junoon (energy and passion) is now an everyday hustle. I don’t just teach how to play songs - I help you build a vibe, read the crowd, and create moments on the dance floor. This isn’t just about music, it’s about bringing stories alive, track by track.
What My DJ Training Feels Like
I’m all about open format DJ lessons, so you’ll learn to mix genres, surprise people, and actually move the room. We don’t rush - is kaam ke liye toh waqt hi waqt hai (for this work, I have all the time in the world). You’ll get hands-on DJ mixing techniques from the start.
- Basics: Beat matching by ear, pitch bending till you get it right
- Set building: Crafting the flow, understanding dance floor psychology
- Creative mixing: Mashups, blending Bollywood with hip-hop, live scratching, tone play, and using advanced mixer effects
Studio & Scene
All sessions are in our Bangalore studio - pro Pioneer gear, proper club sound, and always some new tech to try. We keep things open and inclusive, with special focus on women in DJing. Sometimes we bring in guest DJs for workshops, too.
