Fundamental DJ Course (12 Sessions)
Format & Location
- Duration: 12 practical one-on-one sessions (1 hour per session) spread over approximately 4 weeks.
- Venue: Private home studio setup in Indiranagar/Bangalore.
Core Technical Skills
- Equipment: Hands-on training with industry-standard Pioneer CDJs and DJM Mixers.
- Beatmatching: Learning to sync tracks by ear without using sync buttons or visual aids.
- Theory: Understanding BPM, bars, counts, and phrasing for seamless mixing.
- Mixing: Mastering EQ transitions (High, Mid, Low) and fader control.
Software & Deliverables
- Library Management: Overview of Rekordbox or Serato for analyzing tracks and setting cue points.
- Source Material: Guidance on sourcing high-quality extended mixes for Commercial and Bollywood sets.
- Final Output: Recording and exporting a first 20 to 30 minute mixtape.
Advanced Mentorship & Live Shadowing (3 Months)

- Sessions: 30+ practical studio sessions tailored for career readiness.
- Real-world Experience: Shadow sessions accompanying the DJ to venues (like Loft38) to observe soundchecks and live booth operations.
Advanced Performance Skills
- Creative Mixing: Usage of Hot Cues, Rolls, Slip Mode, and Color FX for live remixing.
- Harmonic Mixing: Using keys (Camelot Wheel) to ensure musical compatibility.
- Open Format: Techniques for switching tempos between Hip-Hop, Bollywood, and House.
- Mic Skills: Training on microphone usage for crowd engagement and hype.
Professional Development
- Technical Setup: Training on cabling, connecting to club sound systems, and troubleshooting silence.
- Crowd Psychology: Reading the floor and managing energy levels during different set times.
