- Technical Mixing: Training on EQ isolation (Highs/Mids/Lows), Looping, and using FX like Filters, Echo, and Reverb.
- Mashup Techniques: specialized module on live genre blending, such as mixing Bollywood vocals over House beats.
- Library Management: Instruction on Rekordbox analysis, setting Hot Cues, and organizing digital crates for gigs.
- Harmonic Mixing: Using the Camelot wheel theory to ensure key compatibility between tracks.

- Demo Recording: The final session is dedicated to recording a 15-minute live audio mix, which is polished and provided as an MP3.

My Story: Science, Beats & Tripura Roots
I’m Rislyn, a Tripura girl who got a PhD in science, then dived deep into DJing. Most folks still think DJing isn’t a “real career” back home, but I’ve played my way across India, Nepal, Maldives, Malaysia, and Oman. I won "Queen of Mashups 2025" and was named "Best Djane - Tripura" for two years. I teach because I want others to feel that rush of chasing your own thing, even when it’s tough.
How I Teach: Chill Vibes, Real Skills
My DJ lessons aren’t stiff classroom stuff. I keep it super personal, one-on-one, and straight up fun. I’m all about connecting and helping you find your sound. I’ll bring international DJ experience and show you how it’s done at real gigs, festivals, and parties.
What You’ll Actually Learn
If you’re just starting out, I get it. We’ll build up from zero. You’ll get hands-on DJ training with Pioneer DJ equipment. I’ll show you DJ mixing basics like beat-matching so you don’t just watch, you actually do it yourself. The goal is for you to make your first mix, no stress.
Where We Jam
No fixed studio here. My “classroom” moves with my gigs, sometimes by the sea or at cool venues. So, you learn wherever my music takes me. It’s a bit unpredictable, but honestly, that’s part of the fun (and the challenge).

My Story
People see DJ and PhD together and get confused, but that's just me! I split my days between medical research and mixing tracks, all from my home in Tripura. Not easy, honestly. Here, DJ-ing isn’t exactly a big deal unless you’re in a government job. Still, I’ve won ‘Best Djane’ twice, even if my state stays quiet about it. My family keeps me going, especially Ma. All I want is to live real, chase dreams, and maybe inspire someone else from a small place like me.
