Live Turntablism Set (Club & Gig)
Performance Specs
- Duration: 90 to 120 minutes of continuous playing time.
- Style: Live Turntablism. Includes scratching, beat juggling, and live remixing rather than standard mixing.
- Genres: Strictly underground open-format including Old Skool Hip Hop, UK Garage (UKG), Grime, DnB, and Bass Music.
- Exclusions: No commercial Bollywood or Top 40 Pop requests.
Technical Requirements
- Artist Brings: Laptop, control vinyls, slipmats, and high-end phono cartridges.
- Venue Provides: Standard DJ Gear (2x Technics Turntables or Pioneer CDJs + 1x Pioneer DJM S-Series Mixer).
- Note: If the venue does not have the required console, the artist can bring equipment for an additional fee within the high price range.
Logistics
- Arrival: 45 to 60 minutes prior to set time for sound check.
- Travel: Included within Bangalore city limits.
Full Console Event Package (Private & Corporate)
Package Scope
- Duration: Up to 4 hours of performance covering warm-up to peak time.
- Curation: Custom music themes discussed pre-event (e.g., Y2K Hip Hop, Industrial, Funk).
- Exclusivity: Artist blocks the full date to ensure availability for extended duration.
Equipment Included
- Console: Artist provides the full hardware setup (2x Professional Turntables, Scratch Mixer, Laptop Stand).
- Cabling: All necessary audio cables to connect to the venue sound system.
Venue Requirements
- PA System: Client must hire/provide speakers and subwoofers suitable for the venue size (Artist does not bring speakers).
- Furniture: A sturdy table (minimum 4ft wide) required to support heavy turntables.
Logistics
- Setup: Artist arrives 90 minutes early for equipment routing and sound check.
- Travel: Includes heavy equipment transport within Bangalore limits.

My Approach
Music’s at the center of everything I do. I’m always crate-digging for fresh sounds and those rare bangers, whether it’s 90's hip hop or some mad underground DnB. Every set is about reading the crowd and switching up the vibe - no stale playlists, ever.
What Makes My Sets Different
I’m not just pressing play - turntablism is my thing. I go hands-on with the decks, scratching and beat juggling live. If you want something more than just background tunes, you’ll get that raw energy when I’m on. I treat turntables like my instrument, and the result is a set you won’t hear anywhere else.

Most weekends, I’m doing club night DJ for hire sets around Bangalore, but I’m always up for private parties, theme nights, or even a wild corporate scene. I’ve played all over India - Goa, Kochi, Delhi, Hyderabad - and I don’t mind a little travel if the gig’s right.

Yo, I’m DJ Dwell. Bangalore is home turf, and hip hop here taught me everything. I’m not into sticking to one vibe—mixing genres is my thing. Open-format turntablism, that’s my playground. Big shoutout to #bangaloremassive, those gigs are wild. Sometimes I’m warming up for legends, other times just spinning my fav tracks with the crew. It’s always fresh, never the same twice.
