A rigorous, performance-focused intensive bridging the gap between studio technique and the professional stage.

Our annual Summer Stage Dance Workshop gives brand new students the chance to train with us and perform on a professional stage.

Were you born to dance? Our Summer Stage Dance Workshop is your chance to get on stage with us and live your dream.

An invitation to our Summer Stage Dance Workshop, an intensive program culminating in a final performance.

About Workshops & Special Events

This is not a recreational camp. Our Summer Stage Workshop is a disciplined, multi-week intensive where students move from foundation drills to full-scale choreography. You will be expected to attend every session, maintain absolute focus, and commit to the rigors of our technical training if you intend to perform on stage at St. Andrews.

Performing is the ultimate test of a dancer's discipline. Many students can execute a movement in the studio, but commanding a professional auditorium is a different challenge entirely. My workshop is designed to teach you how to handle the pressure, the lighting, the projection, and the stamina required for a real show.

The Curriculum

We do not just teach choreography. We build the physical and mental capacity to hold a stage. The curriculum integrates our core pillars: Commercial Street Jazz, Contemporary, and Ballet technique. Expect old-school drills that focus on alignment, turnout, and posture. These are the same foundation exercises we use in our year-round batches, accelerated for the performance timeline.

Why the Stage Matters

Stage craft is an essential part of dance education. You learn spatial awareness, how to connect with an audience, and how to maintain grace under intensity. This workshop is specifically for those who want to move beyond the mirror and understand what it truly means to be a performer. Whether you are in our jazz, contemporary, or hip-hop tracks, the end goal is the same: to step onto the St. Andrews Auditorium floor with complete confidence.

Expectations

We limit our batches to 25 students. This ensures individual attention for every dancer. We have strict policies on attendance, uniform, and studio etiquette. If you are looking for a casual activity to fill your holiday, this is not the right fit. If you are prepared to work hard, sweat, and be pushed to your technical limits, we will help you get there.

I do not offer holiday camps; I offer a transition into the reality of performing arts. My workshop is for students who want to know what it truly takes to command a stage, not just learn a routine.
