About The Advanced Division: For the Elite Performer
This program is designed for the dancer who has already mastered the fundamentals and is now seeking to refine their artistry. I hold this division to a strict standard because professional performance requires more than just energy; it requires the kind of technical precision and physical stamina that only comes from years of repetitive, focused drill work. This is not a hobby class, and I only work with students prepared to commit to that level of rigor.
The Advanced Division is where technique meets expression. My methodology centers on a precise fusion of contemporary jazz and classical ballet, requiring a foundation that allows for complex, fluid movement. We meet at my Andheri West studio for 10-plus hours of intensive training each month, typically on Sundays. During these sessions, the focus shifts entirely from learning basic choreography to mastering the technique behind the movement.
Expect to work on:
- Technical Virtuosity: Advanced barre conditioning, muscle control, and alignment work that builds the lines required for elite performance.
- Soloist Readiness: Specialized training that prepares you for the stage, whether performing as part of a group or as a soloist in our 'SOLUS' events.
- Artistic Refinement: Learning how to project presence, emotional intelligence, and sophistication through your dance.
Because I keep my batch sizes small, I only admit dancers through a formal application or audition process.
