About Jazz Dance Classes
Why I Teach Jazz
Dance is more than steps for me - it’s a culture, a discipline. I started teaching jazz in India only after I felt ready to build dancers from the ground up. I don’t rush. Foundation comes first, always. If you’re looking for shortcuts or quick routines, my classes aren’t for you. I believe in old school drills, technical basics, and slow progress that actually sticks.
What You’ll Find Here
- Jazz technique for beginners: My Foundation in Jazz classes are for anyone starting out, any age. We focus on posture, strength, and the real jazz basics.
- Commercial street jazz classes: These are high-energy, sassy, and all about stage presence. Perfect for teens and young adults who want to perform and find their groove.
- Adult jazz dance programs: If you’re 25-40 and never danced before, I have integrated courses mixing jazz and contemporary. We go slow, keep it safe, and make sure you learn right.
- Advanced division: For women who are serious about jazz, I run a selective program. It’s tough, but if you’re passionate, you’ll find your artistry here.
The Journey
Getting stage ready is part of every class. My students perform at ‘SOLUS’ and our Summer Stage Dance Workshop. If you’re dedicated, you’ll get solo opportunities. It’s hard work, but the payoff is real. I see dancers grow, not just in skill, but in confidence. No shortcuts, just honest progress.

My Story
I’m a bit old school, honestly. Dance for me isn’t just steps, it’s about building character. For years, I wouldn’t teach choreography till I saw real technique. Now, my group’s got muscle, form, grit. Watching them grow is wild, like seeing a tree push through concrete. Sometimes we’re strict, sometimes goofy - both matter. Choreography is art, but the fun? That’s the soul, yaar.
