About Ballet Training
Why Ballet Here Feels Different
I don’t treat ballet as just another hobby. For me, it’s a way of life - a culture of discipline, poise, and strength. Honestly, the process is slow, sometimes even boring, but it’s worth it. You’ll see yourself change, not just as a dancer but as a person. Arz kiya hai (let me say this) - patience and frustration are part of the deal, but so is growth.
My Approach: Foundation First
I stick to old school ballet drills. No shortcuts, no rushing. Every student gets direct feedback - you’ll hear me say, “Where’s your neck?” or “Turn out your knee!” a lot. This isn’t a casual class. It’s a full-on commitment. All that it takes... is everything.
Step-by-Step Ballet Journey
- Ballet for toddlers (ages 4-7): We start with creative movement, props, and playful cues. Kids learn basics like demi-plié and first position.
- Classical ballet technique (ages 5+): Younger kids build their foundation, older ones join beginner or intermediate batches.
- Pointe work training: For those aiming for the professional track, this is tough and needs years of dedication.
Beyond the Studio
Our annual ballet recital experience, ‘SOLUS’, is where everyone performs - from tiny dancers to soloists. I’ve seen kids grow from 4.5 years old to 16-year-old soloists. We also run workshops like ‘WINTERPOP’ for lyrical and contemporary ballet.
What You Should Know
We’re a single studio in Andheri West, Mumbai. Seats are limited, and admissions happen only during intake periods. Trial or audition classes are part of the process.

My Story
I’m a bit old school, honestly. Dance for me isn’t just steps, it’s about building character. For years, I wouldn’t teach choreography till I saw real technique. Now, my group’s got muscle, form, grit. Watching them grow is wild, like seeing a tree push through concrete. Sometimes we’re strict, sometimes goofy - both matter. Choreography is art, but the fun? That’s the soul, yaar.
