For the dedicated dancer, the ascent into professional-track training is a rigorous journey of anatomical discipline, strength, and technical mastery.
Students practice a sissonne combination en pointe. My voiceover reminds a student to strengthen her arms, showing the detailed corrections required at this advanced level to maintain stability and grace.
A student practices relevé and plié exercises en pointe at the barre. This fundamental work builds the incredible ankle and foot strength necessary to dance on the tips of the toes.

About The Ascent: Advanced Conditioning & Pointe Work
Pointe work is not a starting point; it is a destination reached through years of foundational strength. Before we even consider the shoes, we assess ankle stability, arch structure, and your ability to maintain a turnout while fatigued. If you are looking for a quick fix, this is not the place for you, but if you are ready to treat your body like an instrument, we should talk.
Professional ballet requires a level of physical and mental commitment that goes beyond standard class attendance. Our program for the professional track is designed to build the specific athletic power necessary for high-level performance.
The Training Regime
We operate on a four-day weekly schedule that includes intense evening sessions and a three-and-a-half-hour Sunday intensive. This is where we break down complex repertoire, including variations from classical staples like Swan Lake and The Nutcracker. The curriculum is focused on safety and longevity, using anatomy-based conditioning to prevent injury while pushing the limits of flexibility and core stability.
Why the Foundation Matters
Many students rush to go en pointe, but our method relies on the 'old school' approach. We utilize professional sprung wood flooring to protect young joints during high-impact allegro work. My instruction involves hands-on tactile corrections because visual demonstration is rarely enough to fix deep-seated alignment issues. You will be held to a high standard because that is the only way to achieve the poise and strength required of a true soloist.
Admissions
We are a single studio located in Andheri West. Because we prioritize personal attention, our intake is limited. You must complete a mandatory assessment trial to determine if your flexibility, aptitude, and focus align with the requirements of the intermediate or professional levels.

I do not teach choreography; I train dancers. My students understand that professional ballet is a marathon, not a sprint. We strip away the shortcuts to build a foundation that lasts a lifetime.
