About The Art of Furniture: Our In-House Workshop

We use solid, kiln-dried oak and sustainably certified timber because we want these pieces to age well in your home, not end up in a landfill after a few years.
When we start a new project, we look at the empty space and imagine how it will live. Mass production prioritizes speed, but our workshop prioritizes the connection between form and feeling. We source solid timber, like oak and ash, because wood has a history. It changes with the seasons, and so does the furniture.
Our process is patient. We translate sketches into technical drawings, then move to the workshop floor. We work with carpenters who understand the nuance of joinery. If a chair angle feels wrong, we reset. We do not rush to finish; we rush to get it right.
