Rue 32 is a study in quiet luxury. We blended warm wooden textures with functional design to create a New Delhi home that feels less like a showroom and more like a sanctuary.

The living room at Rue 32 exudes comfort and style. We created an inviting enclave with a linear grey sofa, a rose pink loveseat, and a lounge chair in checks. The wooden ceiling adds warmth and unites the entire space.

The dining space is a harmonious symphony of wooden textures against an olive green backdrop. The detail-driven, custom-crafted furniture pieces, including the dining table and console, lend the area a contemporary elegance.

A suave bar takes up one corner of the living room. The bespoke bar counter features a black granite top and a tiled base, while the display behind hosts a collection of shot glasses from the clients' travels.

The master bedroom at Rue 32 redefines serenity with a refined palette of greys and blues. A commanding bed with a grey upholstered headboard lies beneath a herringbone wooden ceiling that adds rustic elegance.

The walk-in closet was reimagined as a versatile den. The space combines a home office, reading nook, and storage, with an exposed brick wall and large mirrors creating an illusion of depth.

The cantilevered workstation in the den, set against an exposed brick wall and a colorful hexagonal-patterned roman blind. This corner is designed for focus and productivity, without sacrificing style.

About this collection

The herringbone wooden ceiling in the master bedroom was a calculated choice to bring warmth and rustic character to a modern space. We often steer away from standard false ceilings, preferring to use natural materials that shift the acoustics and feeling of a room. This ceiling, paired with the grey upholstered headboard, anchors the entire retreat.

At Rue 32, our goal was to balance modern clean lines with the warmth of a lived-in home. The den is a perfect example of this. By converting a walk-in closet space into a dual-purpose room, we created a quiet area for focus that includes a cantilevered workstation and an exposed brick wall for texture. The use of large mirrors here adds depth, making a compact room feel expansive.

In the living area, we moved away from rigid layouts. The olive green dining backdrop creates a distinct mood, separating the space from the neutral tones of the lounge. The custom-crafted bar, featuring a granite top and tiled base, serves as a social hub that feels integrated rather than added on.

We believe that a home should reflect the people living in it, not just the designer's vision. That is why you see personal touches like the Buddha statue in the bedroom and the specific mix of patterns on the cushions. We focus on materials like wood, marble, and soft linens because they age well and bring a tactile quality to interiors. Every piece of furniture, from the living room lounge chair to the dining set, was designed to fit the scale and light of this specific apartment. This approach to slow living means we prioritize comfort over fleeting trends, ensuring the home remains welcoming for years to come.
