About From Our Workshop: The Making Of
Every piece we build starts with a sketch, but the real work happens at our Westend Marg workshop. Whether we are welding a sculptural metal frame or applying a PU finish to a teak tabletop, we manage every step in-house. This allows us to tweak dimensions, match material grains, and perfect the joinery before anything leaves our floor, ensuring the final piece is a precise, functional fit for your home.
Our Process: From Raw to Reality
Design is not just about the final image on a screen. For us, it is about the dust, the metal sparks, and the tactile experience of turning raw material into something with soul. When you walk into our Delhi workshop, you will see us working with everything from solid teak and ash wood to industrial concrete and PVD-coated metal.
The Workshop Journey:
- Fabrication: We start by cutting and welding metal bases or prepping the plywood carcass for storage units. This is where we solve structural challenges, like ensuring a cantilevered desk can hold weight or creating hidden cable management systems that stay invisible.
- Material Selection: We source high-grade timber and marble, looking for the right grain or vein pattern that defines the piece. We often experiment with leftover stones to create new patterns, giving material a second life rather than letting it go to waste.
- Finishing: This is where the piece gets its character. We apply multi-coat PU polish—matte, satin, or high-gloss—to protect wood from humidity and scratches. Our team checks every joint, edge, and surface to make sure it feels smooth and sturdy.
